It could be somebody completely new. Just as long as it has conviction and heart.
Now I truly believe Omar, Cedric, Jon and Juan could make some amazing new music without drifting into well intentioned nostalgic overtones. But I also think that O and C making a Volta album with whom ever they think is appropriate for the vision they would have for that particular project is stellar too.
Just make the album and/or tour with passion.

I don't think Juan and Deantoni will be a part of it though.

In a perfect world, D and JT could be pulling a grateful dead on double duties, get Juan, Marcel, and Adrian back, and boom everything is amazing and all material for all eras can get played and it would just be so epic. Maybe throw Paul in there too, not that we would really be able to hear him

If TMV do end up doing something, be it a new album or tour... and with JT... the most exciting aspect would be if they included Amputechture songs in the set! Jon never got to tour that record, how fucking amazing would it be to see TMV with Jon live, performing Tetra or Baphomets live? Fuckkkkkk.

He didn't. Only Viscera Eyes and Baphomets.

Ya the Dean never played on tetra but he definitely killed Baphomets. That 2 month (or was it longer?) run he did with them in 06 was just insane.
