Fucking wow, the first track had me spellbound like Volta music does; I haven't felt like that since La Tirania.

Was very let down by the drumming on the second track... the drums were just absolutely dead compared to what Deantoni does with this song live. They sound like they were recorded years and miles apart from when the guitar tracks were laid down. So my near-Volta level buzz was killed by this track.

Victimas sounded a lot better to me but again, I'm spoiled by the live versions. I suddenly remember oh shit, on that amazing first track that was Lisa Papineau who does vocals in Big Sir with Juan! I eagerly check the tracklst and am disappointed to see she's only on the first and second-last track.

Corazon: Nice stereo guitar effects; this is an awesome headphone tune. Liked.

De Piedra: Love this awesome feminine ambient trippy shit.

Infiel Hasta La Meurte: I need translations on these titles; I know enough Spanish to know this means "until death", but nothing more. Really enjoyed this one; Marcel is spot on here, keeping that steady trance beat like Skinny Puppy or Pailhead.

Nada De Amor: ok, by track seven of any great new album I'm already overloaded and can't process everything. Started off slow, but captivated me by the end

Carne De Perro: Dog meat? Nice coda to the previous track. I woudn't have separated them.

i dont really like how Soledad Y Silencio is so eerie and then just suddenly stops. and the next song sounds totally different and funky. It doesnt really lead into it that well. but this album is so incredible. but wayyy too short

Yeah, I agree that's a pretty jarring change. I really want a whole album with Lisa, Omar and Juan.

Man, Marcel's drumming at the end of Infield Hasta la Muerte is awesome. Epic track (beginning threw me off).

I doubt it, Cielo is used for Heaven too and would make sense after all the songs Omar has wrote with references to god and religion.

Yeah, this studio version of "No Hay Mas Respuestas" is pretty tight. Marcel's drumming is spot on.

This album has some really great songs on it, with some really good performances. However I just can't get past the drumming. I'm usually a big fan of Marcels drumming, it seems to get better and better with each release. Especially on Sepulcros, he was on fire. But ths album he is really sloppy, particularly the first few tracks. I feel bad for saying it, but the drumming really is pretty bad on these tracks. Just flat, and seems he is off the beat a few times, too. I really feel Deantoni could have really lifted this album for me, with much tighter drumming.

That said, it is still a good album, and i'm sure it will grow on me. There were some great pop tracks on there that I loved on first listen.

Honestly, 1 minute into the first track of Cizaņa De Los Amores, and all I can think is - Cedric who?
And Lisa Papineau and Ximena Sariņana Rivera on one album? OMFG, I came.

Is that really Ximena on the 7th track? Sounds really good and shows that she can do something different. Her voice is great on that track.

Nope, it's Lisa Papineau.

Haha, I actually raised my eyebrow there.

Gonna listen to this as right away.

Infiel hasta la muerte is just delightful. Somehow it reminds me to a softer Amputechture... My favorite track so far.
