I'm assuming some of those improvs are crazy long?

Also, 2017 Lizard vocals by Jon Anderson?!?

Prince Rupert Awakes (Jon Anderson, Vocals, 2017 Mix by David Singleton)

IT means this is a 2017 remix.
Guess they want to distinguish it from the Jakko vocal version of the same song, which might be from 2017,too?

So I just started this spreadsheet today... last performances of every single KC song... so this Sailors' Tales tracklisting came at the perfect time. It's a work-in-progress:

a gig is tomorrow, so we can wait, but if he says it's a song that HE never played then it's Breathless, because Tony played it, as for two others that will be played - i dunno, but i assume they are "in the wake" and "night watch", based on their youtube channel, these are the only ones not performed live yet

If you mean The Night Watch hasn't been played live you are very mistaken

As far as i can tell, there are only 2 songs overdubbed by Jakko on this boxset: Islands and Cadence and Cascade. Prince rupert is just a remix by Jakko because "prince rupert lament" is an instrumental.

With cadence and cascade its funny because a week ago i started a project on mixing all existing versions of cadence with all kc vocalists to create a version with all of them singing simultaneously (it wasnt performed only by wetton) (i already done this with schizoid man) and i wanted to use a version of Jakko's singing the tune from schizoid band but now i will have a full studio version of it!

So I just started this spreadsheet today... last performances of every single KC song... so this Sailors' Tales tracklisting came at the perfect time. It's a work-in-progress:

Discipline O.O

Awesome!

Moonchild...meh...It is great because of the production and Lakes soft voice with its fx,cannot imagine this (or any?) incarnation doing it justice IMO

for me it's the other way around.

90s performances of Discipline were pretty rough.

however i'm really excited to hear moonchild! i really hope they did some improvs at the end

I agree with the impro but I fear they only play the main song and go into the next song immediately

That’s the picture of the set: everything listed above is correct but it also appears some kind of Solo Tony levin piece and then Jeremy Stacey piece after moonchild, so imagine that’s where some improvisation happened....

Not a fan of breathless, but cool to see they really did add in 3 songs plus the supposed reworking of radical 1!

they (jakko and singleton) mentioned in 2017 fan interview that the "improv part would be interesting" so we shall see

Prolly would assume so - just given they called them both cadenzas, so solo pieces by each of them and given it’s after moonchild, have to assume it’s bass then piano. We shall see!
