What did he do when he was in ATDI?
Sounds good to me.

It's instrumental and has sort of math rock, proggy spacey elements. Not sure exactly what genres to call it. But suffice to say they're rocky, exciting, fun, complex, and intelligent. Those of you that checked out the other band I recently recommended, Battles, would probably enjoy this too.
A song for your pleasure.

All of their first self-titled album is very good, and I haven't heard all of their second album "The Hoop", but what I have heard is excellent.
They have a really good drummer.
That is all.

Edit edit: Heh woopsies. Can't imagine how I missed TWO threads on these guys. I guess searching is still necessary, even if you're 100% sure there's never been a thread on it.

WRITING UNDERWAY FOR THE FOLLOW UP TO THE HOOP - "TRUMPERY METIER" (FEATURING A SURPRISE COLLABORATION).
I remember Cedric saying in an interview a while back that he was really into them. Plus they have links with At The Drive-In as some of the band were original members.
You never know... :ol_cool:

Fucking Ameoba records not havign the hoop when I go there.
I looked for it just an hour after you did, I reckon. I was very surpised that they didn't have their own little tab, but rather were stuffed into "Misc. C". Weird.
They have their own tab at Tower, dammit.
Yeah, I mean they are a local California act, you would think they would get more recognition. Guess not!

That little mini-breakdown in the first song is so badass...they should've drawn that out more.
