Year of the Snitch is quite diverse, you could even call it a fun listen. I like it.

this is gonna take a long time for me to process. feels like "death grips 2.0" way more than bottomless pit. wish they hadnt put out 6 singles, they still will but couldve thrown people even more for a loop if they only put out 2

I listened to only 2 songs and I was surprised by it. I was expecting it to be more subdued but not as much as it is

I like the variety and change but it didn’t hit me as much. Definitely going to need repeated listens to get to the heart. I enjoyed how much they sampled and referenced their earlier songs lol

yeah it's a strong ending, better than online as a beginning for sure. it's weird how it doesn't flow as well as it should if that makes sense. all the tracks transition into each other but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

is that song like some snarky fan service? I feel like leaving it off the physical edition and then putting it after outro is suggesting that people will be disappointed that the rest of the album isn’t like that song???? Am I being stupid???

I feel like releasing all the singles was a mistake and people would have heard this differently through different ears had they listened in order. I actually think this one is definitely their biggest grower they’ve released. Kind of really thought it was meh at first but I’m liking this more and more. It’s funny how different people feel about this one, I think Death Grips Is Online is one of the better tracks.

After two listens I'm really warming up to this album.  It's quite frenetic, but there is a lot to love.  I'm impressed with their ability to expand musically and more or less avoid retreading the same ground.  Nick Reinhart once again does a blissful job on the guitar as well.  This is the scariest pop-album I've ever heard.

Could be the guy who did guitars on Bodygaurd. Seems to have a very similar tone the mid range of the guitar
