not to discredit our friend Kaynoo but i kind of doubt it's either omar or cedric. maybe i'll eat crow on that statement but eehh, nothing besides that 'we' remark concerning ATDI really makes me feel that way

It has me guessing with the amount of time that he spends on the Twitter and used to spend on Youtube that he would have an account here and would want to interact in a very peculiar way.

Or could it be Paul Hinojos Gonzalez? Only says "we" when talking about ATDI.

Then why has he only been active, with inside info, after he was gone from the band? Plus he use's we with tmv as well, so if its acutally a band member, its Omar or Cedric. I personally think its a band manager.

Didn't Paul play with TMV too?

Read the rest of his posts. He was divulging '09 tour info before any announcement and he gave us the Maide Vale Sessions. That alone is a big indicator that the person has a good connection to the band.
Who it is is not specifically important, but rather that they are consistently correct about things before they are officially announced.
2015 is still a year off and then obviously 2015 is a huge stretch of time so who knows when we will hear a peep from anyone.
I'm figuring we're gonna see new releases from all the new projects (BR, Zavalaz, LB, EtheB, BigSir,Vato, and so on) this year which will tie up current projects which can lead to new volta.
King Crimson 2014
The Mars Volta 2015
Good time to be alive for me.

Zavalaz album this year. Bosnian Rainbows double LP. I get the vibe lately that Teri wants to do a Le Butcherettes record and Marcel now no longer has Zechs Marquise. So 2015 seems like a good time to get the band back together while Teri, Nicci and Deantoni all do their solo stuff.
Im guessing Deantoni will be a part of the tour as well (dont think they would waste a reunion with a hired gun like Elitch). But it's possible that Cedric/Juan would persuade Omar to bring Ikey and Jon back. Id say Ikey is for sure at least for the tour + Deantoni....and then i see Cedric trying to lure Jon back in the band for a final album. But he may be busy so i wouldnt mind Deantoni doing it.
I thought something was happening last week when Deantoni posted a Volta pic on his instagram. Something different is about to go down.

Please don't hold me to it, but as far as I know it's coming out this year. I know it's done and really really good. All the other politics on what happens after an album gets finished aren't up to me though. But there are two songs on there that haven't come out of my playlist since I first got a copy.

Well if you didn't like BR than you probably won't like LB either. I was equally excited about the sonics of both albums. Specially when compared to things that are being released today in the rock world. It's a nice change of pace to hear honest songwriting, honest performances, and honest mixes. Real music made by real people. Not a computer spitting out drum samples in time, virtual instruments, and supercomputer plug-ins correcting every little mistake into a bland beige bowl of porridge.

Generic positive comment. Since you have already seen the instagram, I can confirm that Omar and Cedric have indeed talked recently for the first time since TMV went on hiatus or whatever you want to call it. I've always thought that their epic multi-decade friendship would endure through the hard times, and I'm glad I was right. My two favorite famous people I know personally. I am very optimistic about the future, but the future is a long way away and a lot can change. In short: Optimism.
