it's kinda annoying but idk I get it. he hasn't lived there yet and after 44 minutes of free jazz maybe some silence isn't so bad

i think as a performative silence it would make sense in between other songs rather than at the end

although i do get that chronologically that would make little sense

I’m certain that this album is Omar’s reaction to free jazz. It was never performed this way, he obviously got a few players in to improvise parts (piano and double bass, maybe drums) but he chopped this up into parts and combined it to existing stuff to give the impression of free jazz. I think it’s brilliant anyway.

Yes. Doom Patrol appears to be some half finished ‘normal’ songs welded onto a sample collage made from some of the same source material. I’m probably alone in really liking that album.

i think its great, probably #3 for the ipecac stuff. the ascending piano thing right before the end of the first track is one of the best moments in the ipecac series imo

Didn't think other Doom Patrol stans existed  under rated album, but I suppose I understand the dislike others have for it.

Zapopan Mexico? To me it also sounds very similar to The Bible and the Breathalyzer (the bass clarinet part, at least), but I haven't tried comparing them side by side.
