System Of A Down's new single "Hypnotize" has been made available online in streaming audio, you can find it at www.systemofadown.com. The song is the title track from the bands upcoming new album, which will see a November 22nd release through American/Columbia.

I am so tired of hearing remarks like the above about any band

"Sucks total ass" That is so lame... these are artists putting on a performance of material that they worked really hard on, no doubt pouring all their heart and soul into their work...

And you talk like youre talking about the performance of a football team in a recent game... It's rediculous.

Ive seen performances Ive not cared for before but I didnt boo, wasnt rude to their fans or saying comments like this, I was just quiet about it.

Oh and Im not some SOAD fan-boy, just so there's no confusion, I just wandered into this thread. I do however think there is a lot to be respected about the band like their outspokeness and originality.

I'm not even talking about their music, they just kinda wandered around stage like they werent even trying. I am giving my opinion... it's not like i was booing or anything i was just stating that when i saw them i thought it was lame. I mean I dont really care for their music, but I respect what they are doing and realize they arent talentless or anything. I was talking about my dissapointment with their live act, again just my opinion. Calm down fella.

I agree, they had zero stage presence when I saw them. They used to, just watch the videos from their s/t or their conan performance. Then compare it to their newer SNL one, and you'll see the difference.

holy shit, i just listened to the new hypnotize cd in my surround sound movie room. this album totally kick ass. one of their best by far...i absolutely love it. my favorite song would have to be the last song "soldier side", i got the chills listening to it, a first for me lol. i really suggest picking this album up, ive been a system fan since teh begining and they just keep getting better.

yea it got me too, as i said i got the chills listening to it and thats a first. i absolutely loved the intro version of it but hearing it as a full band and a little faster is...unbelievable.

It's a lot better then Mezmerize by leaps and bounds first of all.

Secondly, it's one of their best albums. I've only listened through it once but really none of the songs were repetitive or stood out as terrible.

My only potential knock is some of the rehashed political lyrics that don't have much power...when they're in like every track.

Still, this is a great album.
