If we're going to get this right, I'm going to need some help. Let's start with the Discography section. I'm going to need the works: release title, date, song titles, lyrics, etc. I'll be developing the system which displays all that info in the meantime.

Thanks

Hey Theory, I'm actually working on getting a mysql database of every mars volta show, tracklist, venue, date, etc. I have 05-07 in a database already, and I'm working on earlier years. I can export it into an SQL file, or send you my .txt file parser (I'm currently parsing Rhinowings discog).

Also, if you need help with this coding wise, I'd be up for it, I'm currently whipping up The Marble Shrine, a dedicated TMV bootleg server / tracker, but I could always lend a hand to the coma.

Just throwing it out there, hit me up if your interested.

Wups, I accidentally named the database discogrpahy instead of gigography.
Edit: just pmed you a new SQL dump with fixed table names, ignore my last pm.

Edit again: wow wups, You wanted a discogrpahy, not a gigogrpahy, o well. I have a discog in a database aswell.

Oh man, I just accidentally went to thecomatorium.com instead of /forum and it was nothing but good news. I'm pretty sure there is a fairly complete discography in one of the threads here, I will try and dig it up.
