I'll need more than a listen to digest the album as a whole but Three Rings, Cut-Out and Neighbors are all fantastic songs in their own right.

Yeah Cut-out is a stand out for me too. The way the guitar trickles off the drum and bass is very enjoyable. And the start stop rockin part at 1:43 makes me bob my head. They have some funky moments on this record.

Solid album. I told Shareeb elsewhere, but I got kind of annoyed early on thinking "This is how Bosnian Rainbows could have sounded"

This is such a good album ! It has this very distinctive grizzly bear sound plus all kind of influences, some funky moments indeed and this soft, warm melancholia warped up all around it.
Sky took hold is my favorite song. I'd just like if that outro would come up a few more times... and in my mind I always expect the last blipblop sounds to build up into a massive rock jam.

I do have to agree with Anthony Fantano (theneedledrop) though; the song structure (or lack there of) on some of these tracks leaves a lot to be desired. I would have given it a more favorable review than he did.

I find myself skipping some tracks. The flow I really enjoy are: Wasted Acres, Mourning Sound, Three Rings, Aquarian, Neighbors, Systole, Sky Took Hold.
I find the song writing on these tracks stand far above the others. I wish the whole album flowed better together.
