Jagjajgauyar!!

I heard that their guitarist cut off his fingers when he was woodworking, so the direction of the band totally changed on the last album. I think I'll pick up the latest next time I heard over to the record store.

and I like this song

I like 'em. I've been enjoying Happy New Year for a few weeks now. "The Adversary" is a fantastic song. Thanks for the live show.

Yeah, I know this band, last album is great (Happy New Year) and I saw them live a year ago (or longer) and they were pretty cool.
Now they are better because Phil Manley is playing with them and he is a god; Fucking Champs, Golden, Trans Am... The Works.

Oneida are like my favourite band in the world. Saw them in London last night for the fourth time, picked up the new People Of The North album. Have all their LPs on vinyl, am working through the many EPs and split-sides with glee now. They're just such a positive, beautiful band - down to how they conduct themselves with fans and other bands. Their studio, the way the support other bands through split-sides, the way they talk about community in Brooklyn. And it's not like they've got any interest in becoming massive, they just keep going (20 years now) making weird as fuck, incredible music that makes them happy. I get the feeling they've got a totally devoted audience, I see the same faces at gigs. Anyway. Great, great band.

Also, love how the last album mentioned on this thread is Happy New Year and they've put out like another 10 or so records since. Heh.
