Smile From the Streets You Hold is shit.

niandra and just a tshirt, to record water and shadows collide with people are my favorites. then curtains...the other stuff is cool but not great and dont really care that much for it. i like his voice a lot.

Curtains and TROWFTD blow my mind. Especially To Record... because I totally didn't get it for a few weeks and then one day I was listening to it and it completely clicked... it brings me to a new, glorious place every time I listen to it. And Curtains was the first album of his I heard and it's all I listened to for a long time. I love Ascension and Lever Pulled.

I wish he would tour by himself more often... in the states....... I mean ATP, seriously... not cool... I would probably go to England just to see him perform solo, though :-)

I really like this performance for some reason:

curtains is so good. it's kind of a surprise for me actually. because each track, for me, is just you know "good", but not fantastic. but as a whole that album grew on me more than any other album i think.

"...while implementing a classical feel to the songs. This implies that either John or Josh will be playing piano more heavily on this collection."

Haha yeah because classical music equals piano.

I love his solo work so much more then the chili peppers. I like them a lot too, but his solo stuff is way better. my favorites are niandra, a sphere, and automatic writing

I dont think he ever got around to rereleasing Smiles, although he expressed interest in doing it.

My favourite album is Niandra

All the untitled songs, your pussys glued to a building on fire, mascara are all just awesome

FROOOOOOOOSH

I got the DC EP the other day and I really like it, especially the first song "Dissolve." The way he delivers each note vocally and the atmosphere of his songs are second to none for me. It's fun to listen to his music and to into your own little Frusciante space.
