Given that mr. Parks is part of the TMV/ORL family now, then enjoy this free ep of him with Astroid Power Up. The GGPLX ep features 5 songs released even on their LP Googleplex.

Check this page for the free download (and to buy the cd of the album, in case): http://www.earstroke.com/EAR016.html

Source - Astroid Power Up! is a completely original, forward thinking, jazz/electronic fusion duo who speak their very own alien language. GGPLX is the EP version of their full length album "Google Plex" which is available for purchase through cdbaby.

Astroid Power Up! is Scott Bruzenak on sine programming, sax, flute, and Deantoni Parks on live drums. GGPLX features guest artists Keaton Simons on bass and guitar appearing on "the Revolt of 1042," Ariel Westberg and Gordon on vocals appearing on "El Gordo." art by Jakob Dwight.

You can stream this EP, download this EP, or download their LP, Google Plex, from CD Baby.

If you love Adrian's style of saxing with some fancy drumming, this is right up your alley. Songs to try out: Into the Woods and The Revolt of 1042. Nujazz, indeed.

Now that Deantoni is officially part of the Mars Volta, we'll have a chance to check out his older material from his side-project releases. FIrst up is Astroid Power-Up!.

I got this album 3 years ago and was blown away by Fireflower. For some reason I quit listening to it and started back up a few weeks ago. I seem to be in even more of a frame of mind to appreciate this time around. Fantastic album! :wizard:

Having Deantoni in the band is like hooking up with a chick after a bad break up, but she was already committed, so you settled for something else that didn't work out over time, and when you were single again and trying out some new prospects, suddenly that same chick opened up again.

Spread fucking eagle.
