excellent review, that's how you review THE MUSIC and not just the band.

It's one of the problems that I find with most TMV and Omar album reviews is they talk about ATDI Omar and Cedrics strange connection, De-Loused, something about space latin rhythm jam improvisation, and then in the last paragraph say "oh yea this album is called snicklefritz it has 7 tracks all 100 minutes long and we decided to give it a 6 based on Jeff Jordan's artwork"excellent review, that's how you review THE MUSIC and not just the band.

YAAY!! i love the fact The Mars Volta love The Mighty Boosh!!! two of the best things around at the moment!!
they should get together!! that would be amasing!!
i always thought the characters Rudi and Spider was so much like Omar and Cedric! :)
...oh and add Richard Ayoade (moss from IT crowd) in that mix and that would be my HEAVEN!!!

One of the best reviews i"ve read about their music.
Although what"s this shit about accessability i keep reading about this album?
Making something accessible means dumbing things down, and that"s rarely a good thing.
