i enjoy seeing these motifs that seem to appear across different ancient cultures.

 

Reading a good book by a post-Jungian psychoanalyst, Neumann, on the Origins of Consciousness and a lot of it is about our collective unconscious and how same themes emerge through mythology. Ouroborous being an important example for instance.
