Alot of Branca's stuff sounds pretty similar to alot of krautrock like Neu! and Can, so if you've listened to Omar, who was heavily influenced by those bands, you've probably already been exposed to some of those musical ideas without even realizing it. Basically he's one of the few who took punk music into the composition world.
In this age of spic-and-span smooth pop-friendly digital tunes, Branca's noisy, abrasive approach is a much-needed antidote.

to be honest this is the first time i hear about him. loved his art the first few minutes! thanks! i can give other recommendations if someone's interested
