Listened to the first half twice, I still haven't got through all of it. It sounds a little cringey and definitely not among their best.

Glitterbomb sounds like Rage Against the Machine sodomizing something from Monuments & Melodies or If Not Now, When?

This blows more than I would like it to.

Light Grenades wasn't so bad if you removed the ballads, some of the other tracks were really raw sounding rock songs with a few jams and a couple of really eccentric solos.

Because I have been listening to them for almost 15 years I might get used to this new album and listen to it for a few times, but I'd rather they do some really good ballads/quiet songs than generic radio rock.

I read an interview with their guitarist where he said, (& I'm paraphrasing a bit here) - There is a group of our fans that keep expecting us to put out this huge, progressive rock magnum opus record. But that isn't what incubus is about. - I was definitely one of those fans for a long time. I thought Sick Sad Little World was a step in the right direction but that's about as close as they got. After Light Grenades I let that dream go. I like a lot of their songs but there are definitely a lot of, as you said, cringeworthy moments in there.
Damn. Incubus is the perfect band to be the ones to make a pop-friendly progressive magnum opus rock record, like WTF

Pretty cool. I think Umphrey's McGee offers this too.

It would have been great if that was around when TMV was a it's peak

I wouldn't figure Incubus could still pull such a big audience. 2018 sure was strange.

Don’t get too excited.....that’s a festival and they played during the day. That said, they normally do large theatres and small amphitheater’s for their solo shows still
