A grower??? Can I just say, that term is being thrown around way too loosely these days. This is a really solid album, but it didn't take me more than a listen to figure that out.

Anyways, I really dig track 5, especially around half way through when the high hat picks up. That bass line is pretty sick.

I don't think so. That's all I've found so far, but the promos start to dissapear once you get used to them.

At first when I only had the promo I thought this album was just alright, but now that I have the retail version I'm really feeling it. It's definitely his best release since "Labor Days," for me. It's kinda laid back, which I like, and I'm really glad he decided to work with Blockhead again on this. Another solid hip-hop album for 07.

Does the beat for "Bring Back Pluto" sound like "Ill Communication" era Beastie Boys to anyone else? Not so much the chorus, but the verses.

it's really, really good... i've never been a big Aes fan, but the last few big Def Jux releases (cage, mr. lif, el-p) have all been fantastic, so i thought i'd check it out.

i'm loving it. the production's pretty great too. i'll have to grab Labor Days sometime soon.

(and i love Cage's guest appearance; i hope his album gets released early '08)

I'm actually going to check this out.

you really should.

Yeah I'm liking this, waited for the official release and I'm definately diggin it, much more relaxed then Bazooka Tooth (I don't think Ace can be relaxed though). I think thats to do with Blockhead doing more beats again, which are damm good I love the few horn lines and the guitar element.
I really enjoy the guest spots aswell and they really add to this record El-P and Ace together are brillant as always as is Cage (who I may have to check out, I always like his guest spots. What was his latest album? Best album?)

SaturnineMantra you have to get Labour Days (my favourite hip hop album) it is incredible and people wanting to listen to Aesop Rock should really get this album first.
