Dear coma friends, does anyone have a good guitar tab for Time Goes Back? I'm feeling an instant need to learn how to play it. Much thanks in advance!

G               C1                  Em1
These things go slowly by - these things

  Who will take it away

Setting up beside wherever turns a blind eye

Any solemn phase

And you belong to two times at once
G             D Dsus4
My radio's my heart
     C1          C2
We live as one

Two ways at once

Am           C1      Am    C1

G                             C1
These still places that are gone by
     Em1
Believe
C1
Believe they're somebody else
G                        C1
Jumping in the mind of a passerby
      Em1                  C1
And being replaced like times flies

Am   C1         Am   C1
Another wasted flaw
Am      C1          Am          D
Going up against the endless law

You know     this is nobody's life

Hiding behind tomorrow's costs

"Em2" is actually this Cmaj7:

7

8

9

10

x

8

the studio version has a beautiful moment during "nobody's life" where some instrument plays a low F. You could add one to your "C2" chord.

@pehjott Right, um, thanks, really appreciate it, but those are chords. I'm interested in the tabs, specifically for the bit where he's not singing. The Bridge section. Anyone?

Accidentally ended up with 2 copies of Empyrean when it came out.  Tried to return 1 to the local record store and they would only offer to take it back for $5.  I thought that was absurd so I kept it.

Sold the extra one years ago on ebay when I learned they were reissuing a bunch of his catalog...which didn't include Empyrean.  Oh well.  I got at least $150 for it, so I call that a win.

In my area Barnes and Noble is a great place to buy physical copies of good music. Their Vinyl and CD selection is massive.

So, re: the empyrean, John's website says "recut from the analog tapes with Bernies Grundmann." I'm assuming they meant master tapes and not the multi-tracks...which is weird since Bernie Grundmann also did the mastering on the original. Either way, didn't realize John was so personally involved. Might have to pick this up...even though I don't have a record player right now.

Anybody else who owns/owned the very first pressing and wasn't happy with it? I sold mine for a good price shortly before the first reissue. The sleeves felt kind of cheap and the music was distorted during louder parts. Would try again now as I don't care about pressing chronology, only quality.

No idea where I should have posted this...

I've discovered Angel Bat Dawid on a bandcamp jazz list and her albu's last track reminded me so much of Niandra !

Here it is : https://intlanthem.b...ck/the-oracle-2
