so guys how the collections coming a long, I just got a big collection and finally got around to integrating it into my collection. also mars volta collection is getting there. only need singles and rarities at this point yay :D also got into frank zappa, found a copy of joes garage signed by dale bozzio and a sealed bootleg.

probably tomorrow I will take pictures of my collection. i probably have like maybe 50-100 records and around maybe 100 45's. my grandmother on my mom's side, her parents owned a bar and had a jukebox and she kept all the 45's, and when my grandmother died, she left the records to me. there all in a Sears container (with the origional receipt taped to the top ) and there all stacked on top of each other, no sleeves. my uncle told me that the container was stored in an attatic and left up there so during the winter they would freeze together and then in the summer they would thaw apart, but they sound really amazing.

VINYLS! Seriously are you all addicted too? I started full blown getting vinyls maybe 4 years ago and I never went back! My collection is not huge, but I have a little over a hundred or so that are actually great (The TMV/Omar, Can, Radiohead, Miles Davis, Boards of Canada and the assorted ambient section is the pride and joy lolz). I don't care what people say it truly is the best way to experience music (besides live of course)! Anyway great thread, I'd love to join this beat off fest....photos coming soon!

I love vinyl, there's just something about it. There's bigger artwork, and the music comes from this twelve inch disc that spins on a vintage piece of electronics, it's wonderful. My pride and joy is Sigur Ros's Takk... I also own all of Omar's work up until Apocalypse, that's when I ran out of money.
