Well this week in Australia Pink Floyd - Pulse DVD was released (not sure if its already out elsewhere?).
Anyway it has the first ever live Dark Side of the Moon performance with visuals, and its over 2 hours long. I was just wondering if people have seen this please discuss. Highlights/Negatives etc.
I have a few music DVD's and I hardly ever watch them, besides a couple which I watch often, will this performance bore me, I'm a Floyd fan, but not a full on devotee, I have the most popular albums, DSOM, WYWH, Animals, The Wall. Is it worth $50aud? which is expensive most DVD's are $30aud. Will this bore me or should I get it, or should I get Pompelli first?
Yeah also I just got a Dark Side Of The Moon t-shirt today, its great :)
Edit* Also I can pick up Is There Anybody Out There? (Live version of The Wall) for $30 which isn't bad, most of the time its about $45. Is this better then the original, I like the original but must say its probably the least favourite of my Floyd albums.

buy live in pompeii and download is there anybody out there, it's probably a little better than the actual album, but not significantly
the performance of Echoes alone on the Live in Pempeii is worth buying it.

thats why id like to see the dvd but i dont know if its worth buying, theres alot of crap on the setlist from the post waters albums.
id reccomend getting live in pompeii instead even though they dont do anything from the albums you own.
I saw half of pink floyd do dsotm the other night. it was a 3 hour long set.
damn that was cool.

it does have tons of features and the concert is pretty amazing as well...the light show alone is quite incredible
so i'd say it was worth the price

something related to roger's new album is happening tomorrow probably a release date and a single. they just announced the title of it - is this the life we really want. i was skeptical, not being a fan of radio kaos or amused to death, but the clips that have been posted sound really good, sounds like something pink floyd would've put out in 72
