I won't listen but, dayum, those reworkings! Of course Names isn't on there. Watch it not even be on any of these albums, Neil.

Sounds like it'll be a superb album, vox included. I love the sound, last couple tracks sound crazy. Nowhere Sides and Lounge for a Tongue remind me of TMV.

Also lmao @ all clowns who thought this was Zach Hill album

I want LP7 to sound like this. Feels like a more refined version of what he was trying to do with Noctourniquet/Zapopan.

Edit: Ok, maybe not all of it.  But Lounge for a Tongue sounds like it might be one of my favorite Omar songs ever.

Fuck! No "Names" again! Its the only song from USM that has no reworking yet.

Some interedting stuff i didnt know that's written on USM wiki:
"Parts of a couple of these songs were also used on the following record, ¿Sólo Extraño? as well as its proper release in 2016 of Nom de Guerre Cabal. "Right Of Way" appears reworked in "House in the Sand" / "Life Proves Its Worth" and the drum track for "Tennessee" is present on "Invisible Laziness" / "Bitter Sunsets"."

I don't think it's the same track between Tennessee. Tennessee is a little slower and there don't seem to be as many of those kick quickly followed by open hi hat/snare hit breaks in Invisible Laziness that are present in Tennesse. The tracks don't really line up to me, which could be some editing trickery, but I don't think it's the same. But Right of Way is, no doubt.

listened to the samples. Thank GOD "Names" is not on this. I don't want it to be ruined by Teri.

I'm pretty sure this is the first time a reworking has a different singer than it had originally.

Deantoni.

Sounds more like Bikini meets Zapopan to me. Which means a slice of Volta on some tracks.

I don't know if this is all Deantoni on Drums.  I think Pridgen is on Nowhere Sides.

Hyped. Terri sounds good here, I think. More refined than some previous records.

This sound like Teri at her best. Might be my imagination, (I always base this shit off of lyrics I hear) but it sounds like Teri got free reign to compose the melodies before the music was added later. I'm just completely hypothesizing here, who knows wtf they do to make these records, but Teri's vocals are *very* Teri, drifting in and out of notes, very weird keys, I would hazard a guess that she's at least heavily involved on the songwriting of this one, not just slapping her vocals on top afterwards.

Also I absolutely love it.
