So, I guess it's Aaron Cruz from the trio record on double bass? Maybe?

Fuck it, not supposed to be using the internet for music at work, but I'm also not supposed to be on the coma every day and that never stopped me. Listening to Equinox right now, might save Woman until tonight.

i'm checking out equinox right now!

Yeah credits would be nice for both albums, the keys sound mantra-like on tomato, Omar perhaps?

Well I don't really know who's on drums but I'm 99% sure it's not Zach, his style/sound is very different.

According to a somewhat reliable source, all drums on Tomato by Marcel.

Woman Gives Birth to Tomato :

Buyamon' Puerto Rico - I Can Feel The Elders Spirit Soul of This Region in The Music - There's a Minimal Chaos but It Fits Well ... It's Somehow Balanced by These Two Old Men Playing Chess in The City Park.

Puebla Mexica : Different Region but The Groove is More Edgy? I'm Doing a Mexican Foot/Hip Hands Dance Not w/ a Woman but Myself Surrounded by Others Dancing as Well :)

El Paso Texas : Such a STRANGE Region ... Mexico / USA These Two Cultures Smack Right Dab Against Themselves - Makes For a Very Alien Place - You Feel Alien. Everything is Alien. Makes For Almost a Bad Trip if You Can't Steady The Reins.

.........

Zapopan Mexico : Feels Like I'm in a Jungle Almost? You Can Hear Different Birds ... Animals. Literally - THEN MY SON Comes Into My Room and Says "Mom ... It Sounds Like I'm in a Black Alley ... He Closes His Eyes ... "I'm Batman" He Says ... In My Own Comic Book." HAHAH COOL!!!! Thank You Omar For The Visuals and Your Creations!

This makes sense, because GUYS: "Zapopan México" sounds A LOT like "The Apocalypse Inside Of An Orange" to me. Such similar instrumentation. Plus, there's the audience applause at the end of "Zapopan México," which makes me believe this is straight Quintet recordings, perhaps live, but I guess mostly studio outtakes. Keep in mind this record is released by "Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group," the last two releases of which were live albums -- Los Sueños de un Hígado & Doitashimashite.

The inclusion of Adrian really supports my idea that these are Quintet recordings... anywhere between 2005 and 2008, when Adrian last performed with Omar.

After doing some research I'm now pretty sure it's Aaron Cruz on double bass and Mark Aanderud on piano; they have played together in a trio with drummer Hernan Hecht. Couldn't it be Hecht himself on drums here as well? I managed to found one video of his playing, the sound quality is very poor but you get the idea:
