Drop links to good shit on bandcamp. I'll start:

https://thestooges.b...e-august-8-1970- An unearthed and extremely rare live recording of the Stooges that was thought to be mythical, until it was found in some abandoned building somewhere in Detroit.

https://justdreamsnyc.bandcamp.com/- a label for the music of La Monte Young, Pandit Pran Nath and associated acts, purveyors of a pretty hardcore brand of avant garde music that formed by the backbone of the avant garde milieu in New York City, starting with Young, John Cage Tony Conrad and others and filtering through Sonic Youth and the no wave and up to the present day. A hugely influential movement.

Great idea! I've been binging through bandcamp the last couple of months. I'll post some after work.

Wow, that took a while. I've had my holiday and going back to work tomorrow but anyway, what the hell, here we go!

FACS - Present Tense

One of my favorite bandcamp finds. Pretty brutal no wave-y rock, it's just raw and loose at the same time, love the feel of the rhythm section with the guitar noise on top. Killer drummer. I wish I played music more like this.

Sunwatchers - Oh Yeah?

Just a really fun record. High octane kraut-ish feel with energetic guitars, frantic rhythms and some skronk saxophone to top it off. Rocking as hell, great car riding music!

ill Treats and Charade - Opening Theory

I'm not the biggest hiphop listener but everything Ill Treats does is just golden to me. Amazing producer, his beats are sickeningly groovy and what Charade does on this one is amazing. The lyrics are crazy good and the themes are just right up my alley. A mix of hilarious conversations about jazz elitism and more serious social issues about identity and masculinity. I really hope they do more together.

Scott Orr - Worried Mind

Super mellow pop music. This music is like balm for a tired brain, when I put it on I just unwind completely. Nice mix of acoustic instruments and electronic synth elements. It's just lovely.

I've been digging into pre-Volta projects like Golden and Laddio Bolocko. Here's a b-sides album from the former: https://originalgold...om/album/oldies. Some great John Theodore grooves in there.

And Blake Fleming released a solo album recently: https://blakefleming...bum/drum-killahOnly heard the first track, but it's a continuation of Time's Up, which I thought was a pretty cool album.

Born Bad Records - French label that releases some compilations that I've really dug.   Disque La Rays is my favorite so far.  I'm hoping to scoop the vinyl at some point in the near future.

Analog Africa - I think Analog Africa is decently known at this point.  They release loads of compilations of old African rock/funk/jazz artists.  Great stuff.  I own Pop Makossa on vinyl.  Great packaging

Dust To Digital - more traditional older world music.  Great if you are into that kind of stuff.  Some of the quality can get a little rough, but I figure there wasn't any world class recording studio in 1940s Vietnam

Nyege Nyege Tapes - Kampala based label releasing some fucking wild albums (They put out the first few Nihiloxica albums).  Sounds of Sisso is truly bezerk and a solid varied example of some of the styles.  They have a sister label that releases even odder shit.  Sadly the name is escaping me

Neon City Records - mostly future funk and nu-disco style music.  Moe Moe is a personal favorite.  It's kind of quirky music, but I dig it in small doses, and fortunately a lot of these releases are pretty short.

Hell yeah, Golden! Such a bummer that Apollo Stars isn't on there. Gonna check out those b-sides!

Blakes solo albums are great. (His playing with Seven That Spells is amazing as well! https://seventhatspe...krautrock-omega )
The live half (track 11-19) of Laddio Bolocko's Live and Unreleased is just blistering!

I'm sure you know all of these already though.
