Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds are releasing a new dvd in august! Woohoo!! The tracklist is amazing in my opinion (I don't like much of his 80's work or the new album)

Tracklist is -

1. Do You Love Me?
2. Oh My Lord
3. Lime Tree Arbour
4. Red Right Hand
5. As I Sat Sadly By Her Side
6. The Weeping Song
7. God Is In The House
8. We Came Along This Road
9. Papa Won't Leave You, Henry
10. Hallelujah
11. The Mercy Seat
12. Into My Arms
13. Saint Huck
14. The Curse Of Millhaven

Documentary: No More Shall We Part - The Recording Sessions, directed by John Hillcoat

Promo Videos:

As I Sat Sadly By Her Side - directed by John Hillcoat
Fifteen Feet Of Pure White Snow - directed by John Hillcoat
Love Letter - directed by Tony Mahony

I'm excited.

His early 80's stuff is the best of the lot.

One of my teachers at back at college used to be Nick Cave's roommate in Melbourne. She says she has this basement tape which is rare as hell, but noone believes her.

I really would have prefered a DVD from the tours of these albums:
"henryīs dream"
"let love in"
"the boatmanīs call"(I think there was a video released from this tour called
"LIVE AT THE PARADISO";I saw it a while ago,and it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen!
Nick Cave was pretty much better then, they should release the DVD version of this concert! for the sake of the old fans!
yes, those who buy his records and donīt download them!

For anyone who's interested, pAperchAse and Xiu Xiu did a split album where pAperchAse covers, "God Is In The House."

I'm not sure what song Xiu Xiu covers, though.

It's a 7" vinyl only.

yeah, he finished a movie recently called The Propostion, it was an outback Australia movie based in the 1800's. It got really good reviews, I haven't seen it yet though.

I also really digged the Bad Seeds DVD

off to see Nick Cave solo performance at edinburgh playhouse in a couple of weeks, it should be pretty awesome. Dont know exactly who else he has with him, pretty sure has the fiddle player and couple of others from bad seeds there though.

Last time I saw him was one of the greatest, greatest shows I've ever seen.. it was at the Lowlands festival. Absolutely incredible.
The man is on fire. He is ferocious.

One of the few Australian musicians I'm proud to say I like.

He also wrote the script to one of the most amazing movies I've seen in years, "The Proposition".

SEE IIIIT.

Anyone checked out his new band Grinderman? It's more like Nick Cave and the Birthday Party. Few downloadable mp3's at http://www.buddyhead.com/mp3blog/
