The first two songs are great; the rest is pretty awful.

In the Miltonic sense of 'awful', I presume.

I feel it's hackneyed. "The Bad Seeds don't sound like a six men blues ensemble but like some garage band tributing the psychedelic era without any real inspiration" and even Cave's lyrics are pretty mindless.

Where should I start with Nick Cave, he has so much stuff, I dont think i want to go into his old Birthday Party stuff or the punky type stuff he did. Its un Australian of me not to know first hand of his greatness but to only hear about it.

yeah, murder ballads is usually the first place to go
from her to eternity has a really odd post-punk vibe, which is really cool. it's really sparse and hollow sounding
no more shall we part is quite beautiful, and Tender Prey is good as well.

I still buy his stuff, but I only dig up until Let Love In.

Mr Cave jumped the shark long ago. Leonard Cohen called and said he wanted his ink pen and notepad back.

Could someone up an album or two for me?

Like the album of the 1920's murders or something?

i guess Grinderman stuff can be put here as well. Just saw this when latest? season of Jools Holland started on TV.

Great song, great performance! Is that an electric ukulele guitarist is playing?

EDIT: checked the comments. Apparently it's a mandocaster...
