That dog is pretty massive. Also apparently this Keaton guy has been on Malcolm in the Middle.

But no, this sounds awesome, hope they get a record out this year.

Yeah uuuuh last I checked triplets are totally orthodox.

While I enjoy the tune, I can't help but feel the hot air blown up their own skirts.

Yea, I'm not a fan of anyone doing the "we're revolutionizing music" stupid shit.  It's part of the reason I liked Volta was that even though they have big egos they would shit on their music a lot.

Sounds sweet! I'd buy a record. Or see a show if they come to the bay area.

They're just saying that they have a weird sense of rhythm. And it's true.

I think they mean unorthodox compared to the mainstream stuff that's out.

Sure but I mean literally everything on that track just sounded like an element of other music I've heard. That super fast snare/hihat thing DP does on every track he ever plays on for example...I mean it's cool, that's the kinda stuff I like to hear, but yeah.....why all the grunty faces :P

Other than some really obscure shit, what music DOESN'T sound like something you have already heard?

Eric Roberts (Pope of Greenwich Village....older brother of Julia Roberts) is Keaton's stepfather.  In fact, Keaton made a couple appearances on Celebrity Rehab when Eric was on the show.  Keaton is a pretty talented singer songwriter himself.  When he was on the Jay Mohr Podcast he played a starkly beautiful rendition of Bob Dylan's Masters of War

In it for Deantoni, sounds like he will really shine on this stuff.
