This is probably a stupid question, but what is this 'Machina 2' that a lot of you are speaking of?

Machina was originally going to be a double album like Mellon Collie, but apparently the record company wanted different so the second cd was never released officially.

1st: Pearl Jam is the greatest band of the '90s.

2nd: I love the Pumpkins. I love their albums, all of them even Machina and ADore. I love their live shit. THey played so hard and so well. Billy is one of the greatest lyricists of the past ten years or so. Jim was ace on the drums. THey rank in my very tip top of loved bands and "Pices Iscariot" is one of the best albums ever pressed, and gets WAY too little attention.

3rd: I really really love the Pumpkins.

"Try" is one of their best videos and songs and gets NO props as well as "If There Is A God". In all seriousness I think that nothing the band has ever done can stack up to just how great "Pices Iscariot" is.
So many people have no clue about this album and it is STELLAR.

My copy got stolen :frown: but I still have it in .mp3

Pices Iscariot is such an awesome album! Starla, Hello Kitty Kat, Blue (even though it is on the Lull ep too), and Obscured are some of my favorite SP songs. The best part is the fact that it is made up of a bunch of b-sides, Corgan is one hell of a songwriter. Speaking of b-sides, I have to give it up for The Aeroplane Flies High set, there are some really amazing songs (Set The Ray To Jerry, Pennies, Medellia Of The Gray Skies, Believe) I can go on and on...

The video to Try makes me feel ill. I'd be happy if I never saw that again.

My sister fell in love with the Smashing Pumpkins and bought all their albums, thus turning me into a SP junky with her. It really affected her when they broke up

Zwan?
I remember being way into Zwan when they were first concieved. I remember the website first going up an downloading shows. I still have alot of Zwan shows. I loved them, they were really great (no Pumpkins but still great). Then MSOTS came out and ti just really wasn't that inspired. I think that you could make one hell of an album with some of the songs the band played live. "Chrysanthenum" is a great example of how much they rocked off album.
