i dunno if anyone realises this, but we are basically getting a New Studio Album (or a studio EP perhaps) in the 50th anniversary of King Crimson.

the documentary is coming late 2019 (or december 2019) and it will contain a soundtrack album which will contain live in studio performances in 2018 of mostly old songs (that were not included in live in mexico 2017) and also new songs

here is what supposedly will be on soundtrack album (kenticus found this somewhere)

radical 1

radical 3

meltdown

radical 2

level five

Letters
Sailors tale
Cadence and cascade
Fracture
Starless
Discipline

also, this will be the first time Fracture is recorded in studio (or at least performed in the studio) because the version featured on SABB is a live performance (with a few studio overdubs i think)

funny how mostly live album (SABB) is called a studio album and now a mostly studio album (cosmikc f*kc) is going to be called a live album

Tobey aimies has a Facebook page that he periodically hides that had the setlist pic on if, specifically it said:

Radical suite
Letters
Sailors tale
Cadence
Fracture
Starless
Discipline

Can’t seem to find the pic again as the page is gone again, but there you have it! The hope and assumption is that radical suite is radical 1, radical 3, meltdown, radical 2, and level five if only because if you look at normal nightly set lists, those are the tunes that comprise the suite, so we’ll see! They had mentioned that set was about an hour of music, and the tunes above about equal one hour. Have to hope that we get all that footage in the doc as well as live footage from random nights of other songs given they film every show, we shall see! Hoping the doc includes video of stuff we don’t have video of yet like larks 4 as well, but we shall see soon enough!

Imagine the accompanying soundtrack album to the doc will be a compilation of sorts of their favorite performances from 2018, or perhaps just one full live show? We’ll see! Take my money!

They’re fine enough for YouTube listening, but for me none have been worth buying. Imagine when we get more details on the 98-08 box and the doc that there will be somectantalhsing stuff in there.

Singleton is the host.

So far this has been one big Mr. Stormy Monday.  Hopefully there are some juicier takes down the line.

That's a huge deal.  Most Muir recordings sound like total dogshit.  Wish the 21st century Encore had survived, but this will do nicely.

Had to vote Red, mostly because I think Starless is as close to perfection in music as it is possible to come...
