I know this record plays so well to Thomas' style, but do you ever wonder what it might sound like with Deantoni instead?

Asco Que Conmueve... (aka New York City) is the only one that have been played live, with Pridgen.

Well, the point is "everything is allowed in the name of god"... even though I doubt they are eating the baby

I watched a documentary last night about rodents that were so hungry they ate their own children.

Compared to Los Chidos it's pretty normal.

They were more hamsters than rats, but look man, whatever you get up to at the weekends - I hope the rats consented and everyone had a lovely time.

Over the past couple months, I've been listening to Xenophanes a lot more than I ever had before. I always thought it was a good record but I had some sort of awakening where I really discovered how special that record is. Might be the best Thomas Pridgen performance on any ORL/TMV album. And, of course, you can't forget Ximena's beautiful vocal melodies all over.

It's a near perfect album, really.

Yeah... if I would have to recommend someone top 3 Orl albums that would be xeno, escorpion and despair, of course. Exceptions prove the rules, right?

We should do a top 10 or 20 Omar albums of all-time thread, when these new releases are done. Xeno is in my top 10.

Top three, for me. Like, I think I prefer it to Cryptomnesia. Fuck it. It might even be my favourite.
