I have a not-so-great Android phone... and, although admittedly I haven't dug deep, I've yet to find a decent recording app. What do you recommend?

Also:

Songs that have all-but-disappeared:
A Scarcity Of Miracles
The Light Of Day
Banshee Legs Bell Hassle
The Talking Drum
One More Red Nightmare

Others we're not seeing much of:
Epitaph
Peace - An End
Sailor's Tale
Exiles
Fracture

...guys, I really want to hear Fracture. But I guess I should be grateful for Moonchild, Cirkus, Lizard, Islands, Fallen Angel... and the 80s stuff. Man.

Suitable grounds has also all but disappeared....don’t think it’s shown up in 2017 at all.

Truth, I've added it.  Plus VROOOM not making many appearances.  Suitable Grounds isn't missed much by me considering the additions they've made this year!

Vrooom is a song that’s never done anything for me. Ditto with the scarcity of miracles tunes, just those songs don’t excite me in any way. So they’re not missed....especially with what’s been added and how much the band continues to grow musically!

Legit - listen to recordings from 2014 and compare them to now, the band was good back then, but has grown into firing on all cylinders on a different level today.

Couple things -- can someone please explain to me what, exactly, is "Hoodoo"?  I have my friend's recording of September 13, 2014 when we were front row @ Kimmel Center... is it really just that 50 second prelude-type mess?  I love it.  Did it ever vary much from night to night?

And considering Gavin is the "main" drummer of the trio, why is he not positioned in the center of the stage?  I guess it would make sense to have Reiflin/Stacey in the center as they truly have served as the gel and embellishment of the group.

Basically a noisy improv thing they only did in 2014 where different combos of band members would make a bunch of noise. Like maybe 10 seconds of pat and Mel then 10 seconds of Gavin and Fripp, etc.

As for The stage layout, I think it’s mostly aesthetic thing where the two “crazier drummers” are on the sides while the more “normal” one is in the middle also doing keys. It looks cool as a layout and goes with the mantra of a group aesthetic, not showcasing any one member, but showcasing all at once!

Hoodoo is the only song from 2014 tour still not released in soundboard. A very edited version of an already short piece appears on 2014 tour box and it contains a bass/guitar part from radical 1/2 so there is that connection

Damn, I love that!  He really laid down some awesome vocals for it in 1997.

Suitable Grounds was by far the weakest of the new songs. Those scarcity songs aren't missed either.

I'd give that to the 99 named drum solos they have now

I'm a sucker for drum bits like that.  Blame it on being in marching band for a few years.  Creative drum work that isn't just technical wankery soloing is my jam

I kinda agree.
Would prefer those drum only songs become more complete by adding a bit of bass, guitars and keys without getting to busy but complex due to polyrhyhmic figures

that would be cool if the drum pieces continued to evolve and started to involve the other instruments, slowly developing into fully formed songs on stage over time.  Not to say the drum pieces are not songs - they definitely are as they have set form and structure and are thought out, not just technical wankery.  I for one quite like Devil DOGS and Hell Hounds quite a bit as tracks to just listen to every now and then - perfect length at right around 3 mins each for drums only pieces.
