I try not to fixate too much on who hates who, ever since I found myself hating HIM on principle for the singer shit-talking Nick Cave at the height of my fandom. Shit-talked Leonard Cohen in the same breath. Not that I feel like I need to correct that bias, I don't need corny goth-lite shit in my life anyway. I'd rather get recommendations than "wah, this band's overrated." I mean, I still listen to the odd Noise Conspiracy when the mood strikes, even though Cedric and Omar were being giggling assholes about 'em in that Nardwaur interview.
What I'm getting at is, I don't need another band where I go "lol fuck them" for reasons beyond their music or, like, blatant Nazi shit.
