If you don't know already know Omar and Hans Zimmer did the score for Guillermo's upcoming film "Burning Plain"

Here is the first trailer with a nice mellow guitar track.

it sets the tone for the film really well! Guillermo and Omar were meant for each other...

Looks like we'll have to wait until mid-09, probably around the time LP5 is supposed to come out

Actually, the guitar part is terrible. It doesn't flow with anything at all and the "choral hook" the guitar part has just comes into the trailer at poor times. Maybe the song is used better in the movie, but it doesn't fit with a trailer.

Actually, the guitar part is terrible. It doesn't flow with anything at all and the "choral hook" the guitar part has just comes into the trailer at poor times. Maybe the song is used better in the movie, but it doesn't fit with a trailer.

I thought it went well with the trailer.

umm, you realize the trailer is dubbed into italian right? the movie is in english.

I just spent the day doing a screenwriter's workshop with Guillermo Arriaga at the University of North Texas, and he said that the movie is going to be doing festivals, he mentioned AFI Dallas in March but that the movie won't be out on theatres until September.

Woah, that's quite a long ways from now...but at least we have a time frame that we can look forward to.

I have this movie...music is pretty good, can't comment on the film as i don't speak italian and theres no subtitles
