McGrath - maybe sort things out with your connection and have a little patience then, hey?

I would say somewhere between the dark madness of Noct but more dirty and raw. Not much guitar in the first 4 tracks. Sounds like it came from one stream of consciousness and the same session just cut in parts- which is a positive thing. (But not like the ORL&JF record though)

all sorted out and i apologize for the outburst. the sudden omar got me excited and then to have it taken away made me very upset and you just so happened to be on the other end.

and fear eats the soul does have amazing guitar. this album just keeps getting better.

No problem.

Is it just me, or is Tentaculos a slowed down / jam version of one of his other songs (I can't fucking remember which one yet... even after searching). Like exactly a slow version.

Of course. Went through that too. Thought it sounded faster though. I like the new one.
Great album. Though the cover isn't exactly as hi-res as most others.

This album is fucking amazing! His previous release was a bit too much for me, but this one is a little bit more accessible.

I wonder why he basically decided to redo Agua Dulce de Pulpo as Tentaculos. I definitely dig it, it's just strange that he did that.

He liked that song that much that he wanted to do it again! I don't know, good question. Either way, It's nice to hear another version of that song.

It's obvious that Omar has acquired a really big taste in creating electronic music. I wonder if he does decide to do another Mars Volta album if it'll end up being even more electronic than Nocto.

I dig it too. it's a song worthy of an alternate version IMO. I love Agua Dulce.

Fear Eats the Soul is another Fassbinder film, a fantastic one I might add.
