word, if the homie Randy comes through with the camera, I'll be filming for sure, time will show of course, sucks you can't make it out, I was hoping we could meet up before or after the gig for a brief smoke and a short chat, plenty of shows coming up though.

I'm hitting up the Austin show. AMT blew my mind on the Other Side of the Sky Tour, can't wait until I get to see them again.
Looks like I'll need to bring plenty of money to the show to pick up the new CDs and a shirt!

The show was incredible, easily one of the most captivating rock bands I've ever seen live. Kawabata had a guitar with a metal cup and he would wind it around it produce these screethcing sounds that reacted so well with everything else. The vocalist/therimen player was astonishing, and I never even realized it was the bass player who did the acoustic pieces. There was a lot of cosmic chanting, something that can also be heard on the new albums activenike and historia bought. The sax moments on each album are incredible, it really adds a new dimension to their sound. I am starting to notice more deviation in time signatures as well for different songs, as the live set was extremely diverse, as there was never a dull moment, not once. Pink Lady Lemonade was amazing, they went into it for a good awhile, hammered away and went to some other riifs then had a really intense reprise of pink lady lemonade. Their ability to transcend musical boundaries is in a field all their own, not anything greater or better then anything, but more so, unique to their personalities and who they are as people and how that takes it's placement in the band. The bass player has an extremely talented way of vocalizing, the chants they all harmonized was something I wasn't expecting but was so ecxited when they were doing it. Great fucking show and me and activenike are making 320kb/s rips of the new albums.
The amt soundtrack for "The Invasion of Thunderbolt Pagoda" is taken from a live session recorded by Acid Mothers Temple SWR 2003 in Dundee, Scotland. There clip doesn't encapsulate the entire movie, only a portion of it, while the main feature has The Joyous Lake @ Angus MacLise 1968 doing the soundtrack, very intense and sureal perspective from a period of very outward expression, where film, music and photography were all colliding at a rapid rate in the pysacdelic scene. "Madness is not the apotheosis of reality by hallucination, but the eradication of reality from the hallucinations we have, however sublty or tenderly or brutally they appear to us."
Don't miss this band if they come around, that was a show I'll never forget...I'll contact a few of you about the film stuff.
