Why do they all cost so much though? The frances single is $150!
do you know what a test pressing is and how rare it can be? The only copy of De-Loused TP I've seen so far had been sold on ebay ten years ago for around $350.

Probably displaying my ignorance, so what is a test pressing? And what's different about them?
I actually thought they were all just regular copies he had lying around.

So hard figuring out what to buy. Leaning toward ORL+JF but maybe one of the TMV album pressings instead...
Tough decision.

Went with FtM + The Widow (live). Didn't want to break the bank, but I love the title track and I don't have it on vinyl. Curious to see how it sounds.

anyone with money to spend on these has some wealthy parents. I would never spend hard earned money on something so expensive that will only sit on a shelf. I wonder why Sonny is selling this stuff now? Maybe this means that The Mars Volta is over?

And ya i bet sonny would trade two tiny cocks in a jar as a wet specimen for ONE of the tests. U could get at least $300 for something like that in the oddity marketplace! (hint: Telesterion is already on black vinyl so u shouldn't expect any, even slightly, better sound quality). DitC would be amazing!
Seriously guys, if u like live + mastered Volta (aka scabdates), it's totally worth having it on black vinyl!

Different values man. If I had more income I'd buy a bunch of these, but I need to keep food in the fridge.
Probably selling them because he doesn't need 8 test pressings of each item. I'd hunch he still has one of each.
That or due to Omar's slowing down of album releases he needs some more money since he isn't getting dem royalties.
