is this track the same line-up and recording era as amputechture except with money mark instead of ikey? I searched, but after 15 minutes I got sick of it.

it sounds like a Tetragrammaton outtake to me (probably is)

but on Se Dice, it's just Cedric Omar and Jon (probably the last song those 3 will ever do together)

Juan plays on some of the songs.

On La Tirania, Omar plays bass, piano, guitar, and synths, while Jon T plays drums and Cedric sings.

I really don't think it's a Tetragrammaton outtake. Tetragrammaton is in 3/4 time, La Tirania's in 4/4.

Incidentally, Tirania could have been a phenomenal song if it wasn't mixed by cell phone.

Haha, there are a few more time signatures than just 3/4 in Tetragrammaton. The whole Rosalyn Carter part, which is basically most of the song from that point on even switches between 4/4 and 5/4 during the progression.

The lineup on La Tirania is Omar on all instruments except drums, Jon on drums, Cedric on vocals.

to say it just sounds like an extension to this or that song is like saying it sounds like an extension to rock music.

i remember reading somewhere that Amputechture's vocals were based off of Cedric singing nonsense: Tiriana.....correlation, sure, why not.

Yeah thats what I thought. I think I remember reading some where Cedric said he makes a vocal track of him just singing gibberish and then does the track with the real lyrics and sometimes makes up a word to sound like his gibberish. But I could be wrong.
