I can't believe you thought the German forum was a good idea, but not this.

I don't know why this hasn't been done? So much good stuff get lost in the huge threads, not to mention the threads get lost themselves in Drunkship.

I was actually not pro-German subforum but a majority of the moderating team was.

That's why there is the 'Search' function to find what you're looking for.

I'm aware of that, and I didn't take a stab at your for the German forum either.

But considering that there are so many gamers, and movie lovers, there should at least be a sub-forum where we could discuss this in detail without having to resort to huge and cluttered threads. I can even moderate it if that's what it takes.

I personally do not see the point of adding a games and movie subforum, considering the sheer volume of posts we already have and the constant whining about the server being slow at peak times, unless we sacrifice something else there would just be more people complaining.

Perhaps a pinned movies thread and pinned games thread in Drunkship may be an answer but I would hazard a guess that would lead to yet further complaints. Let's face it almost everything does.

I don't really see The Drunkship straining under a load of threads about movies or video games. Maybe like one a week gets started.

Is that enough to warrant a whole subforum? Is it?

there might only be one or two a week, which is probably lower than what it really is, but they get buried really quick.

there are a lot of older threads that need to be moved to it's own special subforum.

This is just the first five pages of movie, games, and TV threads. about twenty???

this could be organized so much better.

although i don't think a move, games and tv subforum is essential it would be nice to have them all in one place

that way a thread for a certain tv show/game/whatever would be able to stay alive longer

exactly, that is the reason.^^^

they made a music forum because all the music was getting buried in random threads, now it's time to do the same for entertainment threads

Oh christ.

Who is going to sit through three years of posts and manually move over every thread that belongs there? You?

SOMETHING needs to get pinned or made into a subforum, I really don't see a good argument against at least pinning some entertainment threads, and getting rid of some of the underused pinned drunkship threads (aka everything but the sex thread).

the movie thread is pinned, but that is part of the problem.

the mods and admin think that that will suffice as an outlet to discuss movies, but it is just so huge and gets frequented so much that it just gets flooded and your topic will get quickly shoved out of the way.

yeah having a discussion about a particular move is difficult in one pinned thread

same with the videogames thread
