Close minded people will just never understand the genius in this guy. They also don't understand that some of these new albums are complete and others just experimental or scraps. I don't like some of them but that's ok 'cause he's fucking releasing 24 in a twelve month period.

XPGNO,

And it's *not* the *same people* defending every album.

It's the same *person* bashing *everyone* when *a random subset of the forum population* likes or dislikes each album for their variety.

I know I don't like most of Chocolate. I don't like some of Cell Phone or really Zapopan much at all, and I trash-talked them plenty when I had the chance. But does that mean you're correct about attempts at factual, objective statements?

No.

Your problem is you always take the subjective and spit it out as if it's fact. Enough of that shit. You exert more energy trying to look and sound like an emo boy emulating Omar's style and criticizing him for doing the same thing than anybody on this fucking forum.

I find it interesting how a bunch of Omar fanboys jump in the fray to mansplain why someone is wrong every time they express a negative opinion. I pretty much agree with feelsgood, to be quite frank. Most of these releases, to me, are like last year's thanksgiving turkey, thawed out in the microwave. Sure, you can eat it, and it provides sustenance, but there are like 500 other dishes I would rather eat first. But...c'est la vie. I guess the only thing that keeps me posting is a strange sense of pity for the fanboys who don't know what they're missing.

Note before a bunch of people start mansplaining: Just as Omar doesn't owe us fans anything, we don't owe him anything. Love his music, love what he's achieved. Don't worship everything he does.

- If you have 500 dishes to bring to the table... then bring the dishes! What do you have to nourish us?

Wait for my forthcoming album  :smug:

So wait, you would rather look at and complain about a thawed out thanksgiving meal that you can eat for free than eat any of those other meals?

I adore Ensayo and never cared that much for Xenophanes.

The system works!

I'd say NDGC isn't a remake, just a 'properly finished album'. I think he just chucked a few albums out in unfinished state at the end of his SH tenure. Other opinions are available.

don't forget I jammed with this kid like two or three times and I've listened to a few of his albums.

There's some good shit on there.

You should focus on learning music tho instead of dissing that which you cannot comprehend

There are three.
And the two of them are completely different compared to USM. They only share drum tracks

You don't have to tell me,I know what is on there. In fact there are 2 instrumentals which are also on USM.And they are not that different..The "3rd" is just a drum track. If you count drums samples, than burning those bridges might be a "Dani California" remake.Doesn't make sense,Andrewf

yeah those are two examples of how good it can be too, I'd put them up with nom de guerre but i feel having all of Zen thrills be up there when it's just two songs isn't right

I made this poll because i was curious to see where everybody was at and I'm pretty surprised zapopan is in the lead and everything else tied at half that

Yeah especially since El Bien has much better vocals and more new creative songs than Zapopan..

I really surprised that Zapopan is too. I haven't really listened to it since it came out.

El bien does have better vocals and songs yes but the remixing itself is awful and ruins every one of the songs except the new ones which suit it
