As promised few days ago, here's the review special of The Mars Volta period from 2003 to 2009, including albums "De-loused in the Comatorium" (2003), "Frances the Mute" (2005), "Amputechture" (2006), "The Bedlam in Goliath" (2008) and "Octahedron" (2009).

Comment, share, enjoy!

Nice to see it finally up!
While I have to say I disagree with you on a number of points (the inter-track ambiance on Frances interrupting the flow, Bedlam being "Amputechture Part II"), it's nice to see your perspective on it. There's a surprising dearth of reasonable critical evaluations of this band (people usually either "love 'em" or "hate 'em", and the reviews tend to follow suit), so this was a refreshing read.
Also it's "Gemini", not "Geminni". Don't feel bad, though, you're far from the first person to make that mistake.

yeah, I was gonna point this out too, but then I figured that was what was meant by "you're far from the first person to make that mistake".

Cedric has stated on the record that the CD text is in error.
