Ok. I was noticing last month on youtube, that even though not a ton of people listen to the mars volta (by that i mean that if you go to school or w/e majority of the people there do not listen to them- or most just like led zep and dont expand their musical taste), there are a ton of videos made by dedicated fans, the band, or whatever else. So I'm going to start with some myself.

This ones kinda funny. It could have been made better, and the kid says he hates the mars volta- but if you look at it in a non biast way, it can be funny a little bit. dont hate me if you dont like it.

haha i felt the same way after watching it. but the way my friend portrayed it to be before i saw it was hilarious- he makes things way more drastic than they are. but after watching it a second time it is funny.
also, last time i was jamming with that kid and 2 others, and we recorded a 30 minute jam. a little more than half way through, the kid put an echo effect on the mic, and then was making weird noises singing, he crumbled up a popcorn bag, and was pouring water back and forth in two cups- one of the most funniest times ive ever had while jamming. it was like that dood in the youtube video, but he is a huge mars volta fan- and did it way better. it sounded realllly cool too.

by the way- flight of the conchords... amazing show.
