Ahh mate, have a good time! I got to see them a few years back and they were fucking amazing... and loud. Fucking loud. Louder than war... Brian is a beast on drums. One of the best gigs I've been to.

Yes. Loud. I imagine the bass player is surrounded by whining high-pitched frequencies at all times from standing in front of that wall of bass amps for so long.

Floor show in Cologne!

 

Finally got to trip out to the noise while push-pitting around Brian's drum set. Strong contender for concert of the year.

 

The support act was great aswell. Dj. Flugvél Og Geimskip from Iceland. I have never heard of her. She plays this weirdo electronic pop and also creates her own videos and visuals. Her performance was really impressive, as she was relentlessly triggering samples and playing keys while also jumping around the stage and singing.

The camera work is great, the room is exploding, they play mostly deep cuts. A lot of what sounds like Earthly Delights era outtakes, Transmissionary and a rare rendition of The Faire Folk!
