These guys are my new favorite. I'm a little late to the game. They've been around a while. Kinda punk kinda funk. New record produced by Danger Mouse.

Is it really produced with Dangermouse? Could’ve fooled me. Checked out the first five songs so far because I’ve been seeing a lot of great talk about this new record, but it’s not grabbing me at all and is really confusing me on why so much intense praise is being had for it. It’s not too dense sonically, but the songs are fun jams. Nothing mind blowing at all. HOWEVER (again), I’ve only heard the first five or so songs once.

hey i love this album! got hooked on Human Performance last year where it was pretty much all I listened to for 3 months straight. I think this album is better, though, I love the new political bite to the lyrics

i wrote them off for a long time as pitchfork hipster bullshit but very happy I was wrong. i think they're a little more fun and experimental than some of their contemporaries, which makes them stand out

They have that dry heat sun burn punk rock that Sublime had. Great summer music.
