I asked Omar what's up at breakfast yesterday. He said "Oh yea, I have 11 albums coming" like he was asking for the salt. So stay tuned. Looks like we are about to drop some tunes....

Compared to other artists seven months isn't really THAT long, i think over the years omar fans got used to having a new album every couple of weeks, but i think we can agree that it's better to wait a little longer for a better piece of art and having more time to enjoy it than being overwhelmed by a big number of mediocre releases.It's been exactly seven months and no new album in sight.

Yes, you're right, it took some really close listening but those three songs are waves, 18 and worlds get in the way. They sound very different from on OKA.
Does the Vato Negro song have a title?

Shit, I can't believe I'm just noticing now that Uno and Dos were vato negro songs and not ORL songs.... I thought they came from one of his 29 solo albums from 2010-2012 and never bothered to check which one!

I wish that the complete Fuji Rock 2010 pro-shot set would materialize at least. Juan must have a copy, he uploaded two tracks on PedalsAndEffects youtube (not high quality, though).

If you mean why didn't he release it I believe it is because he can not. I may be filling in details, but my understanding is that all three are co-writers on the album and because of Omar and Juan not getting along for whatever reasons its kind of stuck in a purgatory.
