Probably 'cause a lot of people are Teri haters in this place for whatever reason.I'm surprised at how low it is on lot's of peoples Ipecac ratings. Close to top 5 for me as well! This album is badass. Top 5 of series or close to.I've been really enjoying this album. Lot's of these tracks get stuck in my head, some of Terri's best.
I especially love Sandra.
I think I'm going to take the best tracks from this, Zen Thrills etc and make a killer best of Terri playlist.

"Victor" is hella eerie after that Florida school shooting. Listen to those lyrics.

diente azul: teresa enters ximena mode
I'm pretty sure that since my first listen I've believed this track was originally done by Ximena and Teri sang over it. I've listened many many times very closely and I think there's at least one vocal track of Ximena that is slightly to the right of center throughout the whole song. It's somewhat buried in the layers. The melody and vocal style is very Ximena. I've always wished I could get the answer to this, but how can you ask anyone involved without feeling like a dick? Am I the only one hearing a duet? This song is so somber and beautiful and I'm really in love with it.

I wonder if Eli was meant for this record.

on that, in looking up the ASCAP info from the clouds hill thread I saw that Omar and company are credited for not just Eli but the true detective theme. surely a mistake?
