from the broken fragments of lyrics I'd guessed earlier, I'd always thought the song was meant for Ximena

I caved in, after buying vinyl almost exclusively, I got this on CD from Japan. Totally worth it. That drum machine on 'Spellbound' sounds even better in full frequency.

I don't know... You could apply that to Pridgen, Cathy, Cedric, anyone Omar has had beef with etc.

It's hard to tell when he actually wrote the music/lyrics and just feel like it's just an easy connection to apply lyrics to an artists "real world problems". It probably about some random thing Omar had interest in for a month, 6 years ago...

yeah this album rules. Home Lost through to Fear is one of my favourite sequences of Omar music. only problem is Better to Hang through to Decided is one of my least :(

Very true, but decided is really good as well, like another Fear Eats the Soul. Compartir is beautiful, and Angel Hair is good, never completely got the "one of the best O songs ever" response, but it is one of the first super straight forward songs he did. That album was just super different, especially when put in te contest of the time of not getting much material compared to what we were used to, and then the completely electronic disturbing Corazon de Nadie and then this brilliant album. God damn Home Lost is amazing.

yeah Better to Hang is probably the only song i dislike. but after slow ass Agua Dulce, suicide-core like Decided sort of takes the wind out of the album. Saber and Corazon are two of his best albums, and I'd probably open a 2012 onwards anthology with Home Lost

i could gush for years about these albums

After listening halfway through the album, the only track that makes the album lull for me is Beter To Hang. All of the other tracks are really really good. Glad to remember how much I loved and still love this album

Okay so angel hair is pretty amazing with that end jam, D is relentless and the actual outro is one of the weirdest things I can think of that he's done in a while. Damn, what a great album

This is still a demo record to me. Some highlights for sure, but most of the vocals are so out of tune that it's just...cringy. Home Lost, Compartir. Everything works with those tracks.
