Seems they will only send to the Netherlands or Belgium. Besides that I will trade my gf (she's hot) for a Calibration vinyl. It doesn't have to be sealed, I can live with that.

haha, if i still had my extra Calibration vinyl i would take your offer, unfortunately for you and me, it's no longer with me.
i got a deloused storybook for it close to a year ago.

sweet, I need the real self-titled, since I only have the picture disc. I'm assuming the black LP will sound a bit better.

Why?

I dunno, I've read multiple times that picture discs compromise sound quality.

If you're asking why I need both, it's because the self-titled will forever remain my favorite record from the man.

Just won a NM colored Apocalypse for only 15 bucks on eBay. Woot now all I need is Cizana, Los Suenos, Calibration, and Solar gambling. Good luck right?

Good deal!  I was talking to that seller earlier about this vinyl.  I have the clear version already like that one so no competition from me!

But, there is a black version from Willie Anderson also right?  And haven't i heard rumors of an orange version or was that just made up?

Gotta finish up my ORL color variants.  Almost complete!

Apparently some channel shows an active fish bowl for like 6 hours today if you find yourself needing to drool at the tv

A while ago somebody talked to Marcel and revealed he played all keys on Apocalypse "except the two live tracks". The title track is from the Cologne Quintet show, but which show Jacob II is taken from has been a mystery. To make it even harder, it seems like the recording is pieced together, there's an audible cut right before the first solo kicks in.

However, that solo seems to be from the Nov 24th show in Kortrijk as evidenced by this short clip I have never seen before (O begins his solo identically):

On a semi-related note, do we really think it was O playing the keys on Ensayo de un Desaparecido? I know he's got skills and all, but the level of proficiency there sounds like a trained musician, and not what I would expect out of O.

I assumed they were at least partially programmed and syncopated.

Never even occurred to me album was partially live. Makes sense.

Lots of people believe that he played a lot of the keys on the ipecac, I think.

But I'm with you. There's a possibility of course.

I don't know why someone would think he did in the first place. There's not even credits for the series.

Maybe Chris didn't play drums after all and it was Omar... :whistling:

Maybe most people who believe that probably don't play any instruments themselves.?!?

If Omar played all or most of that he would have had to sit down and analyse "traditional" piano playing to an extent that he did not do for his guitar playing.

Wouldn't be what you expect of him.
