I'm sorry; I thought One Hot Minute was absolute shit. Wasn't worth the $5 I paid for it used at Wherehouse. Navarro + RHCP = Don't mix.

However, BSSM and Californication are obviously brilliant albums. I think By the Way had a few weak moments (I didn't like Cabron; I thought Don't Forget Me was very good though) but it was still very solid.

If you don't think they're great, answer me this: What other bands have consistently put out solid albums for TWENTY YEARS?? Even their old stuff had a lot of merit; I loved Mother's Milk and Uplift Mofo Party Plan. I think they are the best of this era.

No I'm a strong oppressor to all apprectiation threads. Because they're all like:
"Yeah so I like this band [insert bandname]"

Then someone goes:

"Me too! They kickass!"

"Yeah don't they! Go [insert bandname]!!"

"When is their next album coming out!? THey rock by the way!"

"I don't know when, but they rock!"

"They rock!"

"I love them!"

"I don't like them!"

"FUCK YOU THEY ROCK SUCK MY DICK!!!!"

"I LOVE THEM!!!"

"[insert bandname]!!!"

and so forth...

get my point? :pirate:

i was watching Slane Castle today. good dvd. good jamming, good solos. good show. 80,000 ppl, wow.

umm and another reason why i dont think BTW is perfect other than Cabron, is becuz of Throw Away Your Television. I dislike that song.

the Peppers dig Blonde Redhead. I think 'Misery Is a Butterfly' wasn't good enough.
