With the start of Nadie and the opening of Omar's vault, I thought it would be a good idea to put together a list of every known unreleased thing that has been mentioned by band members. For TMV stuff I've listed the released albums as well to serve as sort of a timeline. Omar has said that there was a scrapped Volta album in between every released album; some of these have been identified and others haven't. I've referred to these as .5s (e.g. LP1.5). If I forgot anything let me know and I'll try to keep this list updated.
The Mars Volta
Tremulant
- The song Caught in the Sun (not an official title) was supposedly recorded around this era but never released (live version)
De-Loused in the Comatorium
- B-side: A Plague upon Your Hissing Children (never officially released)
- Possible re-recorded version of Cut That City
- LP1.5 (possibly The Somnambulists by Omar?)
Frances the Mute
- LP2.5 (possibly The Somnambulists by Omar?)
Amputechture
- LP3.5: One-song album that was only played live. Probably recorded but never released (live version from about the 10 minute mark to the 41 minute mark)
The Bedlam in Goliath
Octahedron
- B-side: Whisper to Your Flinch (not an official title) (never officially released)
- Cedric said there were two other b-sides, one was re-recorded and became Molochwalker on Noctourniquet and the other has never been heard
- LP5.5 (possibly Xenophanes by Omar?)
Noctourniquet
- B-side: Clouds (not an official title) (never officially released)
- B-side: Postulate (not an official title) (never officially released)
- Electronic versions of Lapochka and The Whip Hand
Other Volta Stuff
- Omar said that they would probably release a b-sides album someday. It would be cool to get high quality mastered versions of the ones that have leaked over the years in addition to ones that we've never heard before
- Songs from the Sympathy for Delicious soundtrack with Cedric singing, the officially released soundtrack only has the versions with Orlando Bloom singing. This is the only one we've heard with Cedric (never officially released)
Omar Solo Albums
- The Somnambulists (Cásate Colmillo is the only song that has been released from this album)
- Azul, Mi Dientes
- Aryabhatiya (cover)
- Bailan Porque No Pueden Hablar (cover)
- String Theory (cover)
- Infinity Drips(?) (cover)
- Self-Titled(?) (cover)
- El Búfalo de la Noche soundtrack
- The Burning Plain soundtrack
- Calibration (Luck and Key Pushing) (Calibration remix album)
Omar Films - See http://forum.thecoma...howtopic=119942 (The Sentimental Engine Slayer is the only one that has been released)
Other
- Cedric's short story The Boy with the Voice in His Knives (which Noctourniquet is based on)
- Original mix of Relationship of Command by At the Drive-In (Omar said that it sounds far better than the final version)
- Another album by De Facto was supposedly recorded
- TMV documentary
- Двойственность вздохов (Duality of Sighs) (ORLG Russian tour documentary)
