http://www.indie1031.fm/

Wednesday night SoCal local radio station Indie 103.1 is going to be broadcasting live The Mars Volta in Irvine... for those who can't make the show, anyone from around the world can tune in to the website and listen to the performance as it happens.

They`ve never done it before, but they`re doing it for us. The Mars Volta will have their very first LIVE RADIO CONCERT BROADCAST HERE ON INDIE 103.1.

Join us on Wednesday Night where we`ll broadcast the entire Mars Volta concert from the Bren Center in Irvine, CA. That`s right. If you can`t go to the concert, you can hear it live. Only on Indie.

We`ll give you more details in a bit.

Well I know what I'm doing on Wednesday. I just hope that my internet connection doesn't crap out.

Isn't there a DC venue/station that regularly does this? I know they did it with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and they have a dj ultimately commentating on the live concert.

i'll be tuning in! someone with the ability to record should do so and host it here. It'll save the drama thats been going on lately with the tapers at concerts being harassed by sluggards who only joined this forum for the boots

Someone please record this.

I'm on satellite internet and exceeded my bandwidth this month downloading Sheff's NYC Videos. I'm basically at dial up speed and don't know if I'll be able to listen to the broadcast without it skipping every 5 seconds.

I can't wait to hear this in one form or another.

Nope, but it sure as hell sucks for those fan-boi's that go to every single event in the LA area. Seriously, you end up paying like 200-300 for all those shows. i don't want to sound like I don't want to support them by going to their shows, but that's a little excessive.

anyway... Nissan live sets + this broadcast = - $0
